What does Lamb of God mean? The lamb in the bible was signifies to the Lord Jesus Christ as a Lamb of God. There are many verses in the Bible about lamb, also with prophesy about lamb and that lamb was no other than but Christ. No one can claim that he/she is the Lamb of God.

Lamb as we know, it was a young sheep and there are reasons why Christ symbolized as a Lamb of God while the ordinary people were symbolized only as sheep of God. All people of God were sheep of God and the people of God symbolized as a fish in the Bible while Christ was symbolized with Lamb of God, worm, Son of Man, Son of God, Apostle, Priest, Man, Begotten Son, Word of God and more.

  • On the first part of the epistle of Apostle John mentioned that the word of God is God and he addressed that to the Lord Jesus Christ as a Lamb of God, and He strengthens his belief that the Christ is a word of God in his epistle in the verse 14 on first part.
Those facts about Christ; don’t limit yourself that the Lamb of God was Christ but there are many symbolization about Christ as a Lamb of God.
