What is Gun

What is gun – is a s firearm that instrument for propelling of bullet. A weapon to kill and to preserve the life in case in trouble and a device that loaded of magazine for ammunition, without ammunition the gun still a gun.

Gun can be classified as single shot, semi automatic and automatic; before the invention of automatic firearms the first guns were single shot guns.

Definition of Firearm 

Definition of firearm is a synonym of gun; guns if plural gun for singular. Single shot guns are those guns that are needed to cock the slide in every squeezing the trigger and one shot in every squeeze unlike in automatic guns can shot more ammunition in a single press of the trigger. 0.45 caliber pistols is a semi automatic firearm or known as gun. The semi automatic firearms like 0.45 caliber and 9.mm pistols are the types of firearms

that needed of one squeeze in every shot but in one cock of the slide.

The most important part in the gun for propelling of the bullet.

Don’t say that one part of the firearms is more special than others; all of them are specials. Ammunition itself is useless without the main guns and the main guns are useless without ammunition. 

The scientific study of bullet

The scientific study of bullet as a part of the guns is Forensic Ballistics — a science of motion of projectile. Projectile is a bullet, all bullets are projectile even the projectile is a projectile of Canon Howitzer. 

All matter that can kills both animals and humans through gun powder that propelled from firearms are called projectile a synonym of bullet. The scientific study is accurate in terms of studying the striation on the bullet either bullet of powerful guns and to the weakest type of guns.

History of Gun

The history of gun is very broad and the evolution is from obsolete until became modern. Sword and arrows are the oldest type of weapons that used in the age of Abram and Lot until to the time of Moses down in the King David. The first invention of guns were not so sophisticated unlike in this time, there is called Caliber 60 Sniper that has a fatal range of more or less 1.2 miles.

The first gun powder was the black powder, due to its smoke and power to propel the bullet; intelligent man replaced the black powder from smokeless powder — the most powerful gun powder ever. In 0.45 caliber pistols is now loaded of smokeless. If you observed your 0.45 caliber pistol’s ammunition and other pistols other than 0.45 — All of them loaded of smokeless powder.

As you observed after the shot of 0.45 caliber pistol and the likes, there is still smoke even the guns used smokeless powder, does not mean if your pistol’s gun used smokeless powder, there is no smoke ever. 

The smokeless’ powder of your guns has advantage in black powder in the reason of its power and  the black’s powder smoke creates in every shot dark smoke after the shot is destructed to the shooter and the smokeless powder creates smoke as well but not so dark compare to the black powder.

Frame - is the largest part of the pistol’s gun that carries the magazine and with magazine’s chamber.

Slide – without slide; we can’t cock our pistols that necessary to load the ammunition in the chamber of barrel.

Trigger – we can’t fire without this part.

Magazine – This part is the responsible of carrying the ammunition.

Magazine’s Chamber – this part is located on the frame of gun.

Barrel – the path of the bullet is the barrel.

Firing Pen – small but important to fire or propel the ammunition from firearm.

These mentioned above are all important in the gun or known as firearm, guns
