Apostle Matthew in the Bible

Apostle Matthew

Apostle Matthew is one of the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ and has one epistle on the New Testament on the bible. This man was a collector of the tax and the favorite of this person is calculation and the evidence that this person had favorite of calculation base on the introduction in his epistle is about the calculation of generation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In his epistle on the chapter one verse one; started from the King David and that verse and chapter is mentioning the book of the generation of the Lord Jesus Christ; started from King David down to the Maria the mother in flesh of the Lord Jesus Christ that mentioned on the epistle of Apostle Matthew on the chapter 1:16.

Since this man was an apostle; it is not impossible that this man did not sleep together with the other apostles; Apostles like John, Peter, Paul, James, Jude and more. This Apostle was designated for the people of God in Israelite. Unlike Apostle Paul that his designation was for gentiles but the epistle of Apostle Matthew has universal application which means we can use the epistle even though we are gentiles and for Israelite.

The book of Apostle Matthew has length of 28 chapters and 20 verses on the last part. Like to the other books of Apostles especially to the apostles who always went in other places together with Christ, almost Apostles except to the apostles who don’t have epistle for the brethren of the Christ in the church of God both for gentiles and Israelite even for Israelite the other apostles did not had epistles and we don’t know why is almost the same in story except to the other knowledge that shared by the Lord Jesus Christ that no one had mentioned about the particular knowledge.

Might they have but due to time and might there were lapses to the carrier of information or might they did not write any epistle, gospel of Christ for the brethren in the church and even book for the gentiles.

This apostle mentioned in his epistle about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and before the Lord was died and the course of punishments and all events that he saw that time and he wrote it on the paper (or other instruments that available that time if the paper is absent or not yet discovered.) and became his epistle.
Might this man was educated or might not but there was only one information about him that he was became the collector of the tax. Might to became a collector of the tax that time, needs educational qualification to became part of the profession as a collector of the tax of the community and might that occupation is a governmental works and he was the employee of it.

That was only a possibility and might wrong due to the bible regarding this man about his information is limited unlike to the Apostle Paul that he mentioned his previous religion, in what tribe he come from, his previous works, his former faith and belief but the Apostle Matthew was just called as Apostle but before he was called he was a collector of the tax.

There are few things that we can ascertain about him and first — he was Israelite, the collector of the tax, Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, a chosen man by God (we can see this man was a chosen man by God, due to there were many people that time and he was the one who selected to become apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ.)

As we know God knows our heart and might there is something especial inside of that man and might the reason of the selection about Apostle Matthew and became successful disciple of Christ by obedience unlike to the apostle who change his love into money and cause of his wickedness until he sold the Lamb of God as a wisdom of God.

Back in comparison regarding with Matthew and Paul; the Matthew mentioned about the suffering of the Son of God in the hands of the wicked and was resurrected after three days and his epistle has no explanation whether what happened to the Lord during three days and the Apostle Paul had explanation in his epistle whether what happened to the Lord of the Lord within three days in his epistle.
