Social Learning Theory

Social learning theory is a theory where the human learn through surroundings by absorbing the information which came from surrounding, how the surroundings act with particular situations; how the people speak, morality and other types of acts where the human can imitate especially the child which in the process of the learning by hearing imitating the behaviour.

Social learning theory is not the imitation theory   where the people imitate whether how the person act especially in terms of fans of the celebrities but the social learning theory has part of imitation theory which only denotes that this theory has broad application compare to the other theory.

Since it is a theory; it is or there is possibility that this theory might wrong? If the observation is the bases in this theory, we can conclude that this is real and not a theory. Observe the infant after born in this world; that infant has idea not whether how to speak, how to walk, and many more which same in nature.

In this case; the child learns little by little through imitating the other how the way the subject speak, how the subject walk but expect that not all human who in the process of learning can absorb the information which from the surroundings. There were humans born with poor mental calibre, with mental insufficiency or the abnormal which the capacity of learning is very low.

There are many information available in the surroundings which if the young is in the process of learning; it is useful for them. If they learned, received and practice, without their awareness they learned that information where the adult has care not anymore.

The child is hunger about the information from the surroundings which has vital role of learning to adapt the surroundings. In this theory might covered the learning in school due to the word social. Social denotes in the surroundings and if surroundings covered anything after the existence of the bases.

Social media has a lot of information and almost people knows how to use it and how useful it is. Some people are not yet familiar about the other types of social media but some were familiar.

As first timer about social media; we don’t have idea whether how to use it but through the teaching of other which present on our environment we learned it step by step by observation, direct teachings by friends and other means why we learn how to use it.

Due to social or environment we learned the information from surrounding itself and that theory may fit in this theory about social learning theory. The surrounding teaches the human without human intervention and by with human manipulation like in schools and other means as the reason of the absorption of information from the surroundings.

No man is an island but even there is no other human; the surrounding teaches itself whether how to act in the situations in a man. In terms of origin of man if you are God – believer – person; was started from Adam where there was no woman yet.

Not does it mean when there was no human out there except Adam; he never used his common sense to act in the particular situations like if there was rain for example; if there is rain; just a common sense; Adam would use some reasonable acts for him not to hit by rain.

If in his time as his first time to felt and saw the rain but after that he played for example in the rain; if there was something in his body after that act might made him realised that playing under the rain might cause something not right in his body.

So; the rain itself could teach and that rain was from the surrounding might called as social as well. Imitation is only imitating how the other person dress; the behaviour but the social learning theory is very broad compare in imitation theory.
