The word inihaw was the past tense of ihaw that was called to the killing of goat for food, for market and more. The perfect present tense of the ihaw in Hiligaynon is "gina ihaw" past perfect tense was "naihaw" future perfect tense is "ilihawon."

Ihaw word is a confusable word due to have different meanings with different applications.
