Philippines National Anthem
The Philippines national anthem is incorrect and should Philippine National Anthem, without s.
Philippine National Anthem
The Philippine national anthem is the "Lupang Hinirang" in their term and "Chosen Land" in English. The "Beloved Country" or "Beloved Land" was an erroneous translation. The beloved country might the bayang magiliw and the bayang magiliw was not the title of the national anthem of the republic of the Philippines.
The correct title of the national anthem of
that country was the Lupang Hinirang and Chosen Land in English for more
clarification. Might the translator of that title in English was just confused
whether what the correct title of that national anthem and there are many
Filipinos’ people confused as well whether the title is beloved land or chosen
country.
If the confused Filipinos were reminded
whether the right tile of the national anthem was the lupang hinirang, they
will laugh for sure after the correction.
This national anthem was not the first
national anthem and the first was the "Marangal na Dalit ng Katagalugan" used by
revolutionary leaded by Andres Bonficio. This is might the reason those some
Filipinos people according to them the first President of the Philippines should
Andres Bonifcio.
Some still confused about the title of
national anthem of the Philippines. Sometimes when you asked to them, some
responded the correct answer but some were not.
When you asked to them "what is the
national anthem of the Philippines?" some answered "Bayang Magiliw!" which is
incorrect, the correct answer is the Lupang Hinirang. The possible reason that
they answered incorrectly due the word bayang magiliw is on the first sentence
of the first of the national anthem and might the reason of confusion.
If they confused about the real title of
the national anthem and does not mean they are ignorant to the real title but
they just confused about it. They are familiar about the lupang hinirang but
due to confusion they responded the wrong title of their national anthem.
Flag Heraldic Code
of the Philippines or known as the Republic Act No. 8491 was strengthened and
penalising the improper singing of the national anthem.
On the section 3 of
this law, the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire and Protection and the
