However; as you're first timer maybe you have no information yet about the scheduling of electricity. Scheduling of electricity? Yes remember those are islands. The authority which is authorized to serve the electricity within the vicinity is just using a big generator to generate electricity for the villages which are living in the islands.

The starting time of electricity is 10:00 am in the morning and will last until 2:00 am in the morning. (This is updated information).  I was there in those islands and almost three months, so I know about those islands.

Do not hire a Van — the van is expensive, here are the solutions.

If you’re from Iloilo International Airport: ride in taxi and tell the driver that your destination is Tagbak Terminal. (The Tagbak Terminal has have PUV Van which has routes from Iloilo to Balasan and Estancia)

If you’re in Tagbak already, don’t forget to ask someone if where the PUV Van which have routes in above mentioned destinations.

If you have seen it, go to van and ride as soon as possible and wait until the Van would be full of Passengers.

Sometimes it takes 30 minutes or one hour but it depends to the volume of passengers. The traveling time from Iloilo City to Estancia Terminal is almost 2 to three hours depending to the Driver’s attitude?

If you were in the Estancia Terminal already, use the PUV Motor Tricycle or Public Utility Vehicle and tell the driver that you would go to the port of Estancia which have Bancas for Gigantes Island and the fare in Motor Tricycle is 10.00 Pesos only.

If you were in the Port already, don’t forget to check whether what the available Banca in there is. If you have planned to go to Southern Gigantes Island here are the lists of the boats:

Those are the Bancas which have travel destination in Southern Gigantes Island. You can find the name in the side of the boat.  If you have planned to go to Northern Gigantes Island here are the lists of Bancas:

Arjan and Gerell have travel destination of Langub meanwhile the Measul Banca is for the Asluman. If you have planned to go to Asluman choose the Measul, if Langub choose Arjan or Gerell.

Note: Gerell and Arjan Banca were had scheduled (swapping schedule.)

After you saw the available boat(s) in the Port, now this is the time to buy your ticket in terminal. Don’t forget to buy the ticket from the terminal and the cost of the ticket is 5.00 Pesos only.

The purpose of the ticket is the insurance, for your insurance in case what happen to the Banca during the course on the sea.

They called it Terminal Fee and tell to the collector your destination address and the boat and she will give to you the form that you need to write your Name, Address, Nationality and etc.

(The purpose of that form is to monitor the volume of passengers on the particular Banca for safety purpose and the one that monitor the volume of passengers is the Coast Guard.

If you have the ticket already, doesn’t hesitate to ride on the Banca.

The fares of all Bancas are 80.00 Pesos only plus 5.00 Pesos ticket and with the total of 85.00 Pesos only. Please note: You must arrive to the Port of Estancia before 12:00 none, All Bancas will depart in the Port more or less 12:20 in the noon.  Hurry up!!!

From Iloilo International Airpot to Tagbak Terminal are more or less half an hour. (Taxi) From Tagbak Terminal to Estancia Terminal are 2 to 3 hours. (Van)

From Port of Estancia to Gigantes Island are 2 hours (Maximum) — Banca

Your total time before you arrive in Gigantes Island is 5 hours or more in traveling without delay. If there was a delay, it will takes 6 and half an hours or less a little.

If you have planned to back from the Estancia after your vacation in those islands, ask the drivers, the resort or the layman whether what is the next step to go back from the main land. Don't ask the co - tourist but the native in Gigantes Island. Always ask especially to the drivers. Don't forget to book mark this link in case you need our help in the future. No place that there was no crime, the Gigantes Island is not far from the other place which has crime, the crime rate in Gigantes Island is not so high, a safe place for vacation. in terms of accident, there were also traffic accident and in terms of law, there was also laws those govern in the Island.
