Sword in the Bible According to the Bible

Sword in the Bible

The sword in the bible has spiritual meaning; the one meaning of the sword is the word of God.  Follow the verses on this article that will point with you that the sword was the word of God in spiritual explanation.

On the book of Revelation on the chapter 19 verse 15, that there was sword that comes out in the mouth of the Christ and if we interpret it through literal interpretation, we will mislead due to it is impossible that there was sword that comes out to the mouth even to the mouth of ordinary man.

That time Christ sat on the white horse and that white horse was not listed on the four horses when the seal was opened. That time when the Christ sat on that horse almost the end is near. (Shall happen in the future)

Christ mentioned on the book of Apostle Mathew chapter 10 verse thirty four that Christ according to him, he was not here on our earth to send peace but sword. Christ was brought a sword in us for us to heal our spiritual wounds. That sword has no behavior of discrimination.

He brought us a sword and that sword is very sharp on the chapter 4 verse twelve on the book of Hebrews in the epistle of Apostle Paul that the word of God is very sharp compare to the ordinary sword and that sword that sharp compare to the other sword, have two blades that has capacity to penetrate to the joints and marrow and that sword has capacity to determine the thoughts and the intents of our hearts.

So, that sword is very sharp; no swords that can read the mind of humans but the sword that has spiritual meaning only.

So, the question is what was that sword? That sword again is the word of God base on the chapter 6 verse 17 on the book of Ephesians as epistle of Apostle Paul, according to that scripture; the sword of the spirit is the word of God.

That verse and chapter is the strong evidence that the word of God was the sword that comes out to the mouth of Christ on the book of revelation. Word of God was brought by Christ on Mathew 10: 34 and not peace on our earth.

Not all sword on the bible has spiritual meaning, some swords are simple swords, do not confuse if you will encounter the swords on the bible. Those verses and chapters mentioned are interpreted spirituality and not literally.
If you encountered sword other than to the verses and chapters mentioned above; might those swords are just ordinary sword without spiritual meaning.

There are many swords especially on the Old Testaments; the swords were used to kill their enemies, to defend their life especially their families and common those used during combats.

From the time of Moses; during their battle to their enemies they used swords but the physical appearances might differ to the physical characteristics of the new generation swords especially on our time. Do not expect that their sword is better to the sword on our time.

We have no information why the word of God was compared to the sword like for example to the Christ; Christ was called also as Lamb of God, Bread of Life, word of God and more maybe.

The Satan was called also as the dragon and the old serpent. We have no correct and standard bases why these above mentioned words were compared to those terms like to the sword in the bible that has spiritual meaning.
