Page authority decrease is cause by removal of inbound links by webmasters as commanded by the owner of the site or by webmaster’s decision for some reasons. If the page authority decreases the domain authority decrease as well simultaneously but if your page authority and domain authority decrease, it is not uncommon that happen in us.

You are not alone about the these types of happening but all websites which are not yet on the rare status and even on the rare status has experienced also with this situation about decreasing of both domain and page authority.

As human, we cannot predict the mind of some webmasters and owners of the sites why they removed the connected links in us. Might they realise when they connect on our site; it is an opportunity to the owner of the site and the caretaker of it that will helps to their authority to increase in such connection.

More inbound links more opportunity to rank higher compare to the other sites but some maneuver this idea to increase their authority by spamming techniques and that was the black hat technique. 

Search engines are not fool those are easily to be fool like apes. They have tactics to detect those dirty tactics if not now but there are called future, the sites which doing those dirty tactics are worth to ban forever due to manipulation of ranking without giving the reliable information for the readers of the article or without giving quality information to solve the problem of searchers.

Some webmasters doing not outbound links due to just giving an opportunity to the other site to increase their authority, the outbound links is also helpful in terms of search engine optimization but the inbound links has more important compare to the outbound links.

The internal links, outbound links and the inbound links are very important in terms of search engine optimization but as our experience, if the site especially this site, the page which have more outbound links affects our ranking but some our article which has possible of high quality content if was rated, even we have more outbound links but rank well on the search result even just sometimes at page two but sometimes on page one due to our competitions were the sites which existed about 15 years ago or has 15 years of age and their authority is higher compare in us.

So, the authority is not the reason to get the high position on the search result but depends to the quality of the article for readers. The authority is just a prediction whether the possibilities of ranking against to the other sites.

Page Authority Increase

Page authority increase is possible to any sites if the other sites connect to your site; that increase is good news for the webmasters and to the owner of the site. Even sometimes there are many inbound links if the sites those connect in your site has no quality, low quality sites or just sites doing something not right still the authority might affected due to the sites those connects to your site are poor quality sites.

The most effective inbound links are the links which from the high quality sites like Wikipedia and other sites which carries great contents for the users. If you want to increase your authority, you need to receive inbound links from the high quality sites normally without doing link farming as also a form of black hat technique.

Remember, if the sites received or the inbound links grow so fast; the search engines will notice it and might a form of spam. If spam, it is worth for penalization. If you want to stay in the world of internet, you need to do a fair practice.

Search engines were designed to solve the queries of users and if the search engines let those types of dirty works, the user of the search engines will turn off that will not use again and the search engines will down. If you want to stay on the top, we need to publish the article which can solve the queries of searchers; we need to compel them that our article is certified correct that no one can oppose.

If someone opposed with your article, you need to accept it and edit it for the users. Do not let your pride will govern over you and that pride has capacity to outrank your site from search result due to the information that you provided is incorrect and no one will connect to the incorrect information unless the others those don’t have idea with that type of information.
