What Does Infanticide Mean
What does infanticide mean? Means is the killing of infant
with 3 days of age, above in that days, the killings of that child might murder
with aggravating circumstances, might parricide if the culprit was the parent
of the victim.
However not all country defined with same meaning, try to look
the definition in the law of your country due to not all countries have the
same meaning.
Did not mentioned in the law whether what type of instrument
that used in the commission of the crime but if the victim has age below 72
hours still the crime is against person that defined infanticide.
Do not
confused if the victim is 72 hours below the offense is infanticide, if the
parents is the responsible of the crime, the crime might parricide
but try to consult in the law of your nation if in this type of case will fall
into parricide or infanticide due to confusion.
If the law of your country defined that the killing of
infant by parent was fall into parricide, then the case to charge to the
responsible of the crime is parricide, if infanticide, then the case that need
to charge is infanticide.
Sometimes the questions that might arise in our mind; what
if the killer is not the parents and the victim was the infant, what case to be
charge in the culprit? So, the law of your country that you should follow due
to some countries those defined like this, like that and more.
For more
accuracy of information, consult the definition if where you from or from what
country are you now.
We can’t use the definition of the United States law in the
law of other countries. For example, if
the definition of this law was from the United States, don’t use this
definition in your country if you’re from United Kingdom, in India or if you’re
in the Philippines might there are some differences in definition.
