Passover in the Bible

Passover in the bible was happened in the time of Abib on the Hebrew calendar. The word Passover was come from the time of Moses and Aaron when the angels of the lord passed over those houses of the children of Israelite when they started to kill the first born on the land of Egypt.

The killing was type of plaque as the last resort that used by God in order His people will free from oppression by Egyptians and to worship Him in the wilderness. There are many plaques used by God without taking the life of people who don’t acknowledge the God of Abraham and Isaac. Due to the King of Egypt that time was hard – headed; God’s used harsh plaque to free His people and that was the killing of first born in Egypt.

Before the angel of the Lord killed the humans and animals as the first born, God spoke with Moses about the pass over and the Lamb that they should eat, how to cook the lamb, what to use and when as He added.

The bloods on the door serves as their signs in order the Angel pass the houses which signify those dwelt on those houses were the son of Jacob and not a subject of killing. The houses without bloods were the houses those should enter by those Angels and kill the first born.

That was the real meaning of Passover, which the pass over of the Angle those have responsible of the killings of first born but if we base on the New Testament and the deep meaning of the Passover, it denotes to the salvation of the people of God in the corruption from surroundings which corrupted by demons and Satan.

It is also a salvation from the darkness; darkness which have spiritual meaning and that darkness was mentioned by Apostle Paul in his epistle that if the darkness is so deep the light is near. The people who live in the darkness are seems Israelite in the bible that happened to the above mentioned circumstances.

The darkness which has spiritual meaning is very broad that anyone was covered by this type of darkness and might few people who had light in this world. If the people who had light were few, the pronouncement of the Lord Jesus Christ on the New Testament was fit in the current happening in this world.

Which means those people who had white dress those cleaned by blood of the wisdom of God might the only people who had light except to those people who are currently living the path of darkness those had black dress which signifies with evil works and the antonym for that is the good works.

Since the Passover was commanded to celebrate from generation to generations; our Lord Jesus Christ celebrate this; the Passover on the Old Testament were the first born were killed and the Passover on the New Testament was the Son of God as the first born of all was killed.
