What is Duende? Duende is a mythical creature in the Philippines which is very small man. A small man with black magic used against to their enemy, when you destroy their home either they will kill you or punish you with use their magic in order for you to follow. Like hypnotize that you will follow when they command.

The history about Duende has bows and arrows as their instrument for their own self defense; there was no history that this type of mythical creature has a king and queen that lead them and ruled them. 

The Duende was not fast like tiktik mythical creature, mananaggal, not big as the kapre.

 But just have bows, arrows and black magic. The type of mythical creature that drinks not of blood of humans like a vampire and not so strong like the werewolf.

Common to the movies about Duende that they were hats, sometimes their hats had color red or blue and some no hats, might poor and the Duended those have hats might rich. Their noses were sharp pointed and with long mustache if male but might not if female. This mythical creature if we base on the nature was also having sexual relationship, same sex marriage like us? Might not due to the Duended was just a mythical creature.
