What is criminology? As scientific study of crimes, causes and effect of crimes, studying about criminals and cause or the factor of being criminals and this is the meaning of criminology.

Criminology students have knowledge about crime prevention, photography, comparative police system, study of finger prints, question documents, security management, institutional correction and none - institutional correction. In terms of law; they study the criminal law, special laws, criminal procedure, and criminal evidence. Ability in management of security; with knowledge about corpus delicti.

Some Police Officer was not enrolled in criminology school but the other professions that had given a chance to become Police Officer but the in terms of promotion the other professions other than criminology is less important.

Some as you know are not criminologist, they have no skills in terms of police science nor pure knowledge in terms of ballistics, dactyloscopy, pothography, polygraphy, human behavior and crisis management, comparative police system, criminal evidence, criminal procedure, criminal law, questioned document examination, psychology of crimes, police ethics, security management, non - institutional correction and institutional correction and many more.

Criminologist which from criminology student some defined as a generalist due to the knowledge of criminology is very general and unique wisdom which the other professions don't have.

If you are criminology student, you should strive to become a master until you become a doctorate degree; write your own books, publish your own ideas and tell the people the power of your mind which from knowledge with uniqueness and be proud. 

Importance of Criminology

The importance of criminology in case the society needs their services they are willing to respond and in the reason that the criminology has a specific skills that the other professions don’t have.

The computer programmer has especial skills in computer and other professions. Same also to the criminology has especial skills for solving of criminality and more. 

Criminology students are less opportunity in terms of hiring in jobs in different sectors other than in field of their knowledge. 

Criminologist is equipped of knowledge regarding examining of finger prints, bullet and the skills required for this type of classification is the forensic ballistics. Skill in juvenile and delinquency control but very controversial in the reason that the some criminologists that are Police Officers cannot abstain from their self in vice.
